The Afghanistan Value Chains—Crops (AVC-Crops) program will work with various anchor firms throughout the crops sector to improve value chains to increase productivity in key crops value chains, improve the commercial viability of agribusiness, and strengthen public private agriculture service delivery. AVC – Crops will seek to engage women and youth owned business in these crops value chains. The Project will contribute to positive and measurable impacts on the crops sector as a whole and will ensure that local market actors are involved at every stage of the value chain.

AVC-Crops is implemented by DAI Global LLC (DAI) with several subcontractors with various areas of expertise. Rahman Safi International Consulting (RSI) is an Afghan monitoring and evaluation (M&E) firm with significant experience in M&E and research related to agricultural programs, especially collecting, analyzing, and reporting various data sets for USAID Afghanistan Office of Agriculture (OAG) programs.

RSI will take the lead in the data collection and M&E efforts for the program while working closely with DAI and other contractor staff to implement and maintain these efforts.
